I'm paraphrasing here but something to the effect that he looks upon ATM with the greatest of respect and that he feels that in some small way he will always be part of the tradition and an Aggie at heart.

The quote above isn't what makes people mad, it is the fact that he was "Mr. Texas A&M" and stated A&M was his future until the morning of signing day.

Recent quotes that tick people off mostly involve what teammates say to him, stuff like, "isn't that your team, Corey? They don't look too good(on film)", etc.

Teenagers!?? What do they know?

I just hope that all of this is remembered when he comes back to the great state of Texas to interview for employment. Let him stay in the state of mobilehoma.

Funny stuff. It's easy to forget these kids are 17, maybe 18 though. Everyone is telling them something different.

He is old enough to buy tobacco products, go to t*tty bars, and kill other men in the field of battle. He knew what he was doing. He knew that OU was telling him to lie to screw us over. Let's hurt him.

I may be naive, but I find it hard to believe that he wanted to harm ATM in any way. From what I've seen, he seems like a good kid.

So you believe he had a change of heart the morning of signing day? The kid is a liar and a horrible person. I hope whatever needs to happen to make sure he is changing tires for a living in five years happens.

It's the acrimony that bothers me. Corey Nelson wasn't legally bound to go to A&M. He picked OU. He may have done it in a shady way, but that's a function of being young. Also, this is recruiting. If Nelson had gotten hurt his senior season do we think ANYBODY would have offered him a scholarship?

I hope he plays well and doesn't get hurt. That said, beat the hell out of OU.

In all likelihood, he wanted to go to OU but committed to ATM to secure a scholarship (probably on bad advice), then Stoops offered late and the kid went with his first choice.

It happens. Maybe he'll have a bad game, but wouldn't like to see anyone hurt. Also doubt other players would hurt another player for changing their mind on schools.
