Realistic? UCLA 0-2 Houston 2-0, but lost star QB with concussion last week.

Spread is 3 points in favor of Houston.

UCLA's offense looked really f'n terrible the other night....Norm Chow and the gambler are playing around with the pistol for some reason....however coog high's defense might be just the cure they need....don't know...

of course they beat houston with keenum out? ucla must have better recruits other than a few standouts.

It should also be mentioned that Keenum's backup has an 81% completion percentage. He went 8/11 in game 1 and 9/10 in game 2.

it's about time for another puzzling UH loss. Their defense is still terrible. The UCLA offense can get well this week.

Remember what KSU's running game did to UCLA. UH put up 300 rushing on UTEP. UH can run the ball too. I think UH at -3 is easy money.

I'm not saying that UH won't have a fall off with Keenum out, but I think we may all see why the system > the quarterback in this game.

UH will still win. It is a functioning offense without Keenum, proven in the last game. UCLA's defense is horrible and their offense is barely better. UH will cover and take the W.

Saw Cotton Turner play last week. As long as he doesn't freak out playing in the Rose Bowl, Coogs should still win handily. He's got good poise and strong arm. UH will likely rely alot on their run game which isn't UCLA's strong point defensively (giving up 262 per in 2 games) with Beall running well. On the other side of the ball UCLA's QB Prince looks horrible. Barring sudden improvement, the Bruins could be staring at a very bad season.

UCLA is in the midst of the "Neuheisal problem" that sending him packing from Boulder & Seattle. If UH doesn't win, it will be an epic meltdown on their part. UCLA is not a good team this year by any stretch and could easily go 1-8 in the Pac10.

I took UH -3.5. No doubt.

UH will win and it won't even be close. UCLA is horrible and UH is a good team

Hate to say it, but Coogar High is going to blow them out. UCLA is horrible and a lot of what Keenum does is the system, not Keenum, just like Tceh under Leach could plug in any average D-1 QB and he'd throw for 400 a game. Coogar High in a blowout and expect the national media to start getting on them as a BCS sleeper and after tu and TCU the next best team in the state, blah, blah, bull****.

I was pretty high on UCLA preseason. Then everybody got hurt and they've been just plain terrible. I watched the game against Stanford and it was just sad. The offense is completely dead with this bizarre Fran-esque move to the pistol. They will be very lucky to beat UH even at home. (Stanford was at home, too.) They have no shot whatsoever against the sips in Austin. They're lucky to have Washington State on the schedule b/c they'll be dogs to everybody else unless they get a lot better in a hurry.

(OT: Is Jim Harbaugh the most annoying guy in cfb at this point? I can't stand watching the guy on the sidelines. At one point, he literally fell down and started rolling on the ground when a call went against Stanford.)

Ucla. Have you seen Houstons defense? Ucla almost beat Kstate.

Houston's offense is very good with or without Keenum. Houston's defense is bad. UCLA will score points on them. I think UH wins a high scoring game. The point differential will be higher with Keenum than without.

This will be the game that puts Slick Rick really on the hot seat.

UH regardless of keenum. UH is good because of sumlin, note keenum. Defense is clearly a concern, but ucla's offense has been horrific. Kstate tried their damndest to give them the game.

I kind of hope not. If UCLA loses, that makes their game vs tu mean less and less.

No matter who plays at QB, UH has a lot of talent at the other skill positions. But considering our shaky defense, it could either be a blowout for us or a high-scoring loss, a la UTEP last year.

with UCLA at 0-2, with one blowout loss and another already to a big XII team, texas losing is just shameful, since it really doesn't mean much.

They just can't lose for conference power arguments.
