Had the privilege of attending this tailgate a few times, and had to save it. Any ideas/suggestions for the bus? Thanks!

Nice, but lose the budweiser crap.

Too darn cool, but I would suggest getting the mud-grip recap tire off the front. Don't skimp on the front tires, even if you only drive it a few times a year. (Was in the tire business for a while and can't help but look at them.)

This absolutely needs a satellite network dish and a big screen LED TV that can be seen by all tailgaters around your ride prior to the game. That and a refrigerator full of adult beverages and meat for the bbq.

Haha, great suggestions! I'm partial to the snorkel for river crossings. I'm about to graduate in August, and am only taking Ice Hockey this summer. It should should give me time to work on it. Going to buy TV's for it tomorrow.

As for the price, it was surprisingly cheap. I knew the guy who was selling it, and he has moved on to bigger and better things. I called my dad and a couple of buddies of ours and we all pitched in equal parts. So, you can imagine on a college budget it wasn't too steep...we were just the lucky ones who got it in time.

What happened to the original owners? Right around the time A&M got good at tailgating these guys were the ones leading the charge.

Used to have the best tailgate around with live bands and tv setups.

Wait a second! You haven't even graduated and you bought this bus??

He has a couple more tailgates that he runs for his company and this one kind of fell off. I have been in contact with a couple of the guys who were in it and they are on board for joining up again. It should be back to what it used to be, and hopefully we can make it big again.

Yea, I'm class of 09 (WHOOP!), but am graduating in August. This summer should be pretty fun with the bus. My roommates and I are planning on taking it down to Houston for the Rangers/Astros game in June. Maybe the inaugural tailgate can be down there?
