did anybody else notice how well this guy was playing at the M&W game? he was able to move very well out of the pocket and get some yards that way. He also ended the game with a throw to the corner of the endzone while on the move.

I was very impressed with his performance and hadnt heard much about him beforehand. Would love to see him on the field in 2011

he didnt look as good as the other QB's in the practices I went to. he has a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go IMO.

Hennesey 11: Agree. O'Quinn played good in the game He ran well and showed good judgement on his passes. There is a reason why coach Sherman allowed him to walk on at QB.

He played well against the 3rd team.....he is not very good.

I played with him on the 9th grade B team at consol (Basketball was my sport)
And qb against him in middle school
He got on because he somehow knew sherman and his son but is a great and nice guy. Has some talent

ya maybe he played against the third team but the throws were all on the $$. Joekel made several bad passes including one where he had Fuller over the middle for a TD and clearly missed to the right.

Patrick is a good friend of mine. I was impressed

Walk on area kid (consol). Played at a high school that maybe threw the ball 10 times a game.

First of all, i think for a freshman walk-on quarterback to come out and perform like he did in the spring game is amazing. He is the exact type of kid that you want in the program, smart and hard working. He is also the perfect quarterback to have on the roster becuase he knows the offense and is willing to go out and play against our number 1 defense every day in practice. He was our scout team qb last year and i might not expect more this year. And i wouldnt even go as far to say he ever starts, but he may see the field eventually (possibly the next TJ sanders). All im saying is that Patrick is one of those kids that makes our program better without ever getting noticed, so the least ou can do is respect that and not dog him on this board. he has done more for the program already than many of you have.

What the hell do the land thieves have to do with this?

He seesm like a great kid and will help our program in numerous ways, but it is highly unlikely he will ever see the field unless we are up by 50 with less than a minute left.

Well put. Patrick is a great addition to our team behind the scenes. He is a smart guy that is more than willing to learn the opposing qb's ways and mimic them every practice.

He looked every bit as poised as Jamiel and Joekel in the M&W game. All three fish have a ways to go, but thats what development is all about.

Kid is a hard worker, that helps the team behind the scenes. He comes from a good family that loves the kids on the team and the coaching staff.

Glad to hear he had a good Spring Game.
