Hey, quick question. I bought a ticket from a classmate for $20 for the game tomorrow. I'm using it for my grandparent to come see the game with me.

It has a guest pass sticker, but it looks like the same guest pass sticker as I got when I purchased a ticket and guest pass 2 games ago for my parents. It looks like he just took the sticker off and put it on a regular ticket. I don't know if they use the same things every time.

Should I be concerned and buy another ticket or do you think it's okay. Thanks!

Wellll, I actually don't know the answer to this question, but I'm gonna take a shot.

If your ticket says Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma State October 10th, 2009 then I don't think they have to change the stickers, and I would think your ticket will be fine.

If the sticker says $80 on it then it's probably a real one. If it says $50, get a refund from your classmate. The price for that week's game is always on the sticker.

crap.. yea, It says $50 on the Guest Label and $40 on the ticket itself. My ticket (student ticket) says 40.

Dangit.. I knew it was too good to be true. It says Oklahoma vs A&M though. I think its just the sticker.

Do you think I can upgrade the ticket by any chance at the office by the gates tomorrow morning?

They most likely will not honor the ticket. It really depends upon the gatekeeper. If you do get caught, the ticket office will most likely invalidate your sports pass. With that said, student tickets can still be upgraded at this point at the ticket office. You will just have to take the ticket to the window and have it converted.
