Trying to find stuff online about ticket prices but can't find credible source. One ticket place even said the game was at Kyle Field. Anybody know when tickets go on sale and what the prices will be like? TIA

Here's some discussion on it in another thread. One guy says info will be available Monday, another posts some absurd prices for the OU/BYU game in the same stadium.

As of right now, it is not publicly known, although it was supposed to be announced by the end of February.

I have no direct knowledge, but I have heard that the price will be $300 per ticket. That is outrageously high if true.

I believe that Texas - OU was #90 per ticket.

Don't believe everything you hear, I don't think they want to play in front of an empty stadium.

it's taking a real long time for ticket information to come out

I'll be surprised if it's over $100..the country is in a recession, and they want fans to come to the game, new stadium or not. Jerry knows Aggies have $$$$$ and if they get a look at the stadium they might pony up and come back for a Cowboy game.

Byrne doesn't have a problem pricing people out of the stadium, why would Jones?

i heard the priced will be 85$ a seat...i think jerry jones want to pay off the stadium in one year...

the only thing certain is that there will not be one ticket price for all seats. from PlanoGuy's post in the linked page, ticket prices for OU/BYU:

quote:
Club Seats 1st & 2nd Level = $150
Club Seats 3rd Level = $100
Reserved Seating = $80
Reserved Seating = $50
Prepaid Parking = $38

Jerry Jones isn't setting the ticket prices...the schools are.

I thought we and the Hogs were getting the ticket sales $ while Jerry was only getting parking and concessions. Is this incorrect?

Who do you think did better in a negotiation between Jerry Jones and Bill Byrne?

Some possibilities...

1. Jerry went to Arkansas.
2. There is no such thing as a Texas Aggie
3. It isn't A&M's home stadium

Correction: Since this is likely to be A&M's Bowl Game, the endzones should be painted "Razorbacks" and "Aggies." My mistake.

At $300.00 a pop, I may have to rethink my attendance.

For 250 I think the wife and I will pass. I'll play 18 holes in the morning watch the game on tv and go out for a nice dinner and save 100 dollars.

LOL @ those prices

I live about 10 minutes from the stadium but will probably watch this one on TV.

Those prices will do fine for the first year. Lot of hype around this game.

After that, no way that place comes anywhere close to selling out at $85 for the cheapies.

Does that include the $38 to park?

Does the donation mean in addition to your regular donation or does that just me that that area is for season ticket holders.

In addition to any regular donations. And parking is not included from what I saw on the website.

After I saw the OU-BYU flyer I made this as a joke by just doubling all of the prices. Looks like I wasn't far off

Outrageous!

For that kind of money, Jerry should at least repaint the endzones to say Aggies and Razorbacks.

I'm willing to bet that any ticket not bought by A&M, will be snatched up by Arkansas.

Those hillbillies love playing in Dallas, and will do whatever they have to do to be in that stadium.

Remember when they would camp out and buy up all of the SWC Basketball Tournament tickets at Reunion? This will be the same type of thing...

how many tickets are there for the students just out of curiosity?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Looks like a pretty crappy deal for the students. A million years ago when I was in college, they used to mix some student seats into the good seats.

For the Texas-OU game I always got a pretty good seat when I was in school.
