Don't know if it is the actual booing or Fran forcing the 12th man to boo. That was a pretty low point, then for me personally the 2002 loss to Tech when we were up by about 500 points at some point.

Boos from the 12th Man.

Nothing could be worse.

1994; 100th Anniversary of the Aggie Band and Aggie Football.

The Alumni Band steps off with over 600, and during the former BQ drill, an old BQ drops to the ground suffering a heart attack.

The paramedics bring an ambulance onto the field and as they are loading him, his arm falls to the side of the gurney.

It was the quietest and saddest day at Kyle Field I have ever been a part of.

The good thing is that the BQ, I believe class of 1956, did survive.

Never heard of the ABBAT story, but that's pretty sad.

77-0 was the worst moment I'd experienced.

I remember that. I had just asked my boyfriend (now husband) if it was such a good idea to have the old folks march up and down the field like that.

His heart actually stopped on Kyle Field. There were a couple of docs in the band marching and they got it started again.

He was in the hospital for a while, and Mrs. Rudder opened her house to the wife. I believe I also read that a local car dealership loaned her a car. I think they moved back here once he had recovered (I seem to remember reading that).

Definitely the worst thing I've seen there.

When some chick behind me on the fist deck on the south side of the student section puked in the isle in 2002.

That SUCKED.

Were you at Kyle Field for 77-0?

Punting the ball to Welker in the 4th quarter in '02. Everyone up on 3rd deck was screaming to kick it out of bounds.

That games still pisses me off

I was an officer of the day for that game and I was standing at the south 30 yard line when that happened. He collapsed 15 yards in front of me. Very Scary. The band stopped the drill. It seemed like they worked on him forever. He wound up being OK though.

I agree with Aggie Band, Iowa St. '05 was definitely the worst that I have seen at Kyle. Purely embarrasing that Todd Bylthe was man-handling our secondary.

You might remember that during the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band’s Centennial half-time performance, a former bandsman suffered a heart attack on Kyle Field. We are pleased to share with you that Jack Jernigan, Class of ’56 was released from the hospital and he and his wife have returned to Illinois. He still needs some therapy, but is improving daily. The Jernigans were overwhelmed at the show of support they received. Letters, notes, money, clothes, a car, a place to stay and prayers came from everywhere. Mr. Jernigan is on the mend.

This is an easy one. The '95 Texas game aftermath, watching the Horns (Ricky Williams, etc.) celebrate on our home field the last SWC Championship ever, including ending our long home winning streak and ending our era of dominance in this part of the country. We've pretty much never been the same since.

I had heard he not only survived, but was so impressed with those that cared for him and came by to visit, that he and his wife moved to the area. Whether that is urban rumor or not, I've not been able to substantiate.

ISU 05. I wanted to throw Fran off the fourth deck when as I was leaving mid 4th quarter. I couldn't stand to watch that garbage any longer.

I don't think ANYTHING would have given A&M more of a black eye than the sword pulled against the SMU male cheerleaders.

2005 was when I realized Fran was a fraud. Every time he marched out in front of our team after that was my worst moment.

The game where Kevin Murray broke his ankle. I was working on the sideline with the TV crew and it happened right in front of me. I've never seen anything that gross before or since. I was also on the sideline when we got drowned against Baylor. Noah was building an ark that day. How about the Cal game during Jackie's early years? Joe Kapp was Cal's coach and he goes for on 4th down inside the 5 when all he has to do is kick a FG for the win. D holds them. Next play, RB runs a sweep and is tackled for a safety. We lose. Finally, game against SMU. SMU scores a TD in the horseshoe end of the field. SMU cheerleaders run out on the field and start spelling out SMU with their bodies. Next thing you know, one of the OD's is on the field with his sabre drawn. Talk about a tense situation!

'05 ISU was just a beat down, and boos rained in from the half empty stadium.

'06 tceh a perfect throw and catch in the final minutes stole the game from the ags, who played almost a perfect 2nd half.

'06 OU on a national stage we had the opportunity to take the game from OU but we choked it away instead.

ABATT's story is spot on. There was a lighter side to that episode that's appropriate to share since it turned out OK in the end --

One of the paramedics that treated him on the field went on to med school and is now an MD in Kansas City. I met him at the KU game last year. He said that the guy was in pretty bad shape, but his enduring memory will be the dozen or so Aggie doctors that came out of the first deck west stands to help -- problem is that most of them were drunk.

yep, that's what I was going to say, what a horrible time, that was supposed to be such a wonderful time....yep, bad

and, if I remember correctly, another person suffered something in the 1st deck stands too and they sent another crew up there...ugh, awful

I think the absolutely deepest gut-wrenching pain I've ever felt was when the Longhorn band played Amazing Grace in 1999. I wept openly that day - during that show and the moment the final gun sounded after the game.

KC, good call on the Arkansas State game when Murray flat out destroyed his ankle. I can't find it anywhere but the photo of that was brutal.

I was on second deck just above the Saber Incident, had a straight-on view when Greg Hood became the Samurai Aggie (thank you Johnny Carson).

Watching the bonehead Officer of the Day charge the field, sabre drawn, after the SMU cheerleaders. Not only was it stupid, he got his butt kicked. Anybody know what happened to that mullet?

Let me guess...he's now a member of Congress.

The former BQ having a heart attack in 1994 is definitely the worst.

As far as strictly football, I felt like someone rhino-stomped my nuts after the loss to OU in 2000.
