Two of the great horse tribes of North America. Who wins if they were to face off? I've been wondering about this and being a Texan I know who I'd root for but there's much more knowledgeable people here than myself who would have more insight.

WAY more Sioux than Comanches. There were battles where there were more Sioux warriors present than the entire population of Comanche (men, women and children).Blanco Jimenez said:

They are very different in environment, social structure, size, and tactics. It depends on the kind of conflict you're talking about and where it happens. The Comanche rose to power where they did and when they did because of the unique conditions around them. As pure fighters I'd say the two sides are very similar.
Comanche more hit and run and an elusive opponent. Lakota more ambushes. They might not be able to engage using their favorite tactics
