This is a really interesting article about a fellow that has figured out how to take 100 year old motion picture film and speed up the frames per second (Slow fps made people walk fast and look choppy) and fill in the gaps to create video that looks as if it was filmed yesterday.

The article has a couple different scenes. One of Buffalo Bill and a Souix Indian conversing in sign language (not deaf sign language). The detail and clarity is incredible. The other was filmed in New York on Broadway.

Just think of all the potential historical scenes these guys can modernize and give them new life!

If you liked that, you'll really be impressed by this superb WWI documentary which used the same techniques:

speaking of old movies; in 1916 a movie was made at A&M titled: "Closing days of 1916 at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas"

If anyone knows of this movie or has connections at the Cushing Library about the possibility of the movie still in existence it would be a great look at A&M prior to WWI
