3 Naval Crosses and a Medal of Honor were EARNED by those brave, heroic SEALs for their actions during Operation Red Wings. For those who are unaware, Operation Red Wings was the deadliest single-incident loss of life in the special forces community until 6AUG2011 when a CH-47 Chinook went down with 38 people on board, including 31 American military members, 25 of whom were special operations personnel.
