We took our kids to Atlanta's center for Puppetry and they also had an old classroom where the lessons were still on the chalkboards. Pretty neat. I'll see if I can find pictures

The artistry in those lessons is fairly good. It's amazing to see the lessons so well preserved and not all that different from when I was in school. This is a great time capsule into our past.

I was in elementary school in the mid 50s in a small town in Louisiana. Those look just like my memories of the classroom with the boards decorated for the holidays.
