I need suggestions on my next book. I prefer military / spy non-fiction but enjoy some fiction as well (loved Rainbox 6). Here are the books I've read over the past few years...yeah, I'm a slow reader.

The Last Patriot
Licensed to Kill (military contractors)
State of Denial
First In (Jawbreaker)
Rainbow 6
Black Hawk Down
Splinter Cell
Shadow Warriors
Rogue Warrior

I thought "Ghost Wars" by Stephen Coll and "Shadow War" by Richard Miniter were both excellent peeks into the international espionage and foreign policy decisions immediately prior to and following 9/11. I recommend both.

Do not know if you are into this, but I read Edward Radzinsky's STALIN. It is a biography written by a Russian. Many of the reviews of the book point to obvious inaccuracies, probably caused by the writers tainted views growing up in the USSR. But the book is very engaging and gives a very, very good outlook on the method to Stalin's madness.
