Why subject your ring to abuse or loss? I lost my first ring at Ft. Benning while running on a dirt track. I took it off and put it in my fatigue pants pocket, but I didn't know there was a hole in the bottom! When I discovered it was gone, I went back and covered my route twice, but no luck. When I go to the gym from work, I put it inside my locked gym bag, and then lock it inside my gym locker. That's safer than leaving it inside your car in the parking lot where break ins are more common than inside locker rooms.
