For something truly different, try pushup poker. It works like this:

1) Shuffle a deck of cards really well.
2) Whatever number comes up, do that number of reps. Face cards are 10. Aces are 1 or 16.
3) Spades are regular pushups.
4) Diamonds are Atlas pushups (done with hands on 2 chairs or other objects of equal height.)
5) Clubs are fingertips reversed (fingertips pointed towards your feet)
6) Hearts are Clapper Pushups.

Substitute exercises as you wish. This is a tough way to exercise.

I do something similar when watching sports on TV.

For football, after every score, I push the total number of points scored in the game (not advised when watching a tceh game)

Be creative and come up with rules for other sports. It's a good way to not be a total couch potato while enjoying a game on TV.

Not a bad idea there Keegan. It's also a concept that parents ought to apply to kids and their video games.

We used to get crapped out to poker pushups in the Corps. It sucked. IF the pissheads could put together a royal flush (spades) before we were done with the deck, we started over.

Try this one. Pull a card and do that number of pushups. Pull another and do that many crunches. Repeat until deck is gone.
