I usually don't buy them, but did this go round. The mesh toes are starting to look dingy. What are the tips / tricks for keeping them clean / white? I'm not excited about tossing them in the washer / dryer. Is it that easy?

I am currently running in pale lavender and they get dingy at the toes often. I just use water and a soft brush to scrub them a bit right after a run, then leave them to dry until the next morning. I have found that if I use any type of soap on running shoes that the residue just attracts more dirt.

They are running shoes, why do they need to stay clean? Just run in them and don't worry about it.

I do exactly that. Toss in with sheets or towels and then don't put in dryer I air dry. Comes out brand new

I have some light grey ones that get dingy. I was them with a load of laundry then air dry them in front of a fan a few hours.

Because they like things that are clean?

I don't wash my running shoes until I'm ready to donate them or rotate them into my regular wear shoes, but I just put them in the washing machine. Air dry.
