I accomplished my marathon goal last year, and have been trying out Track for a new challenge. The regional meet is this Saturday, 6/15, at Rice. Been a gradual transition over the past 12 months moving from 26.2, and will be running 100m and some distance sprints.

I didn't even know that Masters track was a thing, but I'm intrigued. How do you find events to enter? I did some looking around online but couldn't find much other than the schedule for all of the various USATF championships that go on around the country. Are there typically smaller events that you can enter to prepare for those? Specifically, events in Texas that are easy to travel to (I'm in the DFW area)?
