Time is the only cure. Take acetaminophen (Tylenol) to help with the fever and body aches.

Whenever I go down the cold/flu/sinus route I go with airborne, Flonase(or similar), mucinex cough drops, and either advil or Tylenol cold/flu/sinus that you have to get from the pharmacy itself and show your dl.

When I have flu symptoms, the three main steps I take are to rest, stay warm, and drink plenty of fluids.
As for meds, it seems that you will have a fever until your sore throat is cured. I usually gargle with saltwater. Also, I take Ibuprofen (usually I get it from the partner healthcare pharmacy). It works as a pain reliever and helps to reduce the temperature. You can also consider lozenges or hard candy.

Xofluza is somewhat effective. Nasal flushes, nyquil/dayquil.

you may not have an appetite, but eating or even forcing yourself to eat is going to help inthe recovery process..

just ditto the other suggestions and rest up. here is to a quick recovery.

I had it last week. Took me about a full seven days to get back to close to 100%.

Xofluza is a single dose, fewer side effects, seems to work slightly better.

Take a couple days off and do the normal OTC stuff for symptoms then just NyQuil myself into oblivion.

The only real difference maker in my experience is how much time you can actually rest during the day i.e. sleep/nap.

I have it as well. I came down with a fever on Friday. I have been absolutely hammered with it this time. I've coughed so much I think I've pulled muscles in my stomach and back. Avoid it if you can.
