Anyone have any thought/experience with this? Are there real advantages, or is it all placebo effect?

If when you say cryotherapy you mean when you just stand in super cold air I don't know. I've seen tons of information that supports the benefits of cold/ice baths though. I don't have any personal experience with them but the benefits seem to be real, if you can handle it.

I have experience...around 20 months of experience. I go to the cold chamber twice weekly; it's nitrogen fed. Each treatment for me is three minutes at 184 degrees below zero. I have been told that it is equivalent to an ice-bath (no thanks). I go to Restore Hyper Wellness on east University Drive in College Station. Katy and Logan Lee, former Aggie basketball players, are the owners. They and the staff are pros. See website for cryo and other services, and drop by and check it out.

thanks! i see a lot of benefits claimed - what are your reasons for going if you dont mind me asking? (assume it helps for whatever you are seeking if you keep going). I'm hoping to help with recovery and soreness. The supposed metabolism boost is a nice secondary.

The Restore on University is actually who I'm going to see. got sucked into an instagram ad.
