Looking for a new Gastroenterologist. I live in the League City area but I'm willing to drive to other parts of Houston for the best care. Recommendations appreciated.

Sandeep Lahoti M.D. I went to med school with him, and he is an Aggie. One of the smartest people I know.

Dr. Franz Schneider. I've not personally been, but I think my dad refers out to him sometimes and patients seem happy

Dr. Brian Douglas, he's in the med center, but he's great.

I have gone to him for several years. He listens to me and has a view on levels of medicine and procedures that I very much appreciate- He said I didn't need a colonoscopy this year because I am not in an ulcerative colitis flare-up (based on labs and my personal accounts) and there was no need for me to go through the prep just for him to confirm that my colon looks fine.

I am looking for the same. Im in the Katy area.

Not close to you, but David Wolf based out of Medical Clinic of Houston is very good.
