I'm looking for one for running without big boob pockets. I thought I found one, but I need a small, and their sizing would not work for me.

What do you mean my big boob pockets?

And how much water are you wanting to carry? Lots of belt options

I'm thinking about 2 liters? Enough for a 15 mile run or so.

The Nathan and Solamon packs have large pockets on the straps over the chest that makes the straps huge.

I initially had this Camelbak for my long runs: https://www.rei.com/product/866167/camelbak-classic-hydration-pack-2-liters
It seems like the style you are looking for and it did the job.

However, I switched to a Salomon with flasks on my chest and it was a game changer for me: https://www.salomon.com/en-int/shop-int/product/adv-skin-12-set.html#color=59121
This doesn't seem to be the style you want, but I like it a LOT more. I run in this one about once a week. The water is more comfortable on the chest and there's still room for my phone and nutrition up front. I do have a reservoir that can go on my back as well, but I only use that on really long hikes. The space in the back comes in handy during the winter when I need to shed clothes. I usually keep a sweat rag tethered inside the back too for easy access. You really should take a good look at this style.

I have a Salomon vest similar to this one (I think I have the adv skin 5) and it's very comfortable. When I initially got it I thought the straps would be too big, as well, but once I got the sizing right and got it properly adjusted it's like it's not even there. I haven't seen may that have much narrower straps. Maybe check out Orange Mud? Otherwise, I think a belt/handheld might be the way to go.

Also, maybe check out running warehouse or REI (or somewhere that has free shipping both ways) and try them on at home for an extended period.

This is what I'm currently using, but it's really only enough water for up to about 5 miles for me. It's small enough that it doesn't feel like I'm adding another layer. fitly hydration pack

Agree. I have a similar Nathan one. I also like the two smaller chest bottles because I can put my tailwind/infinit in one and water in the other.

You can have my old Nathan hydration vest.

I think REI is going to be the way I have to go. I'm having trouble finding my size. Right now I'm looking at the Salomon vests, but adding a bladder so I don't have to carry the chest flasks unless I want to. Would the Salomon material be comfortable wearing without a shirt?
