Just moved back to BCS and looking to start my training again for Ironman.

Where are yall swimming? I am not a student, but can I get a rec pass? I swam there in college.

Any masters or triathlon groups?

I think the Bryan aquatic center is open year round. It is outdoor but heated if I remember correctly. Not sure if college station has a public pool open in the winter. The pool on rock prairie opens early for lap swimmers but it might be shorter than you are looking for. Don't know if the natatorium is open to the public.

I swim at the tru-fit pool (25 yards) on Villa Maria. There is a masters group that meets MWF 11-12:30 that I swim with (extra cost), coached by a guy that swam for A&M. A few of us in that group train for IM and other triathlons.

There is also Golds Tower Point (25m I believe)

Ok I am going to revisit this. Planning on doing another Ironman this year. Bryan Aquatic center looks to be the easiest.

With a TAMU Rec Membership, do I still pay for parking? I am not a current student or employee of A&M so I am not eligible for a parking pass. Could a Rec Membership make me eligible. I have no other need for the Rec other than the pool.
