sorry if this is a frequent topic but I searched the first 3 pages.

My wife & I moved to the boonies of New Hampshire and need a treadmill for walking and jogging during the snow season. $200-$500 range. Incline option would be great more so than fold-ability.

Hopefully, someone can point us in the right direction for brands and such during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

i don't know much about clothes racks...er treadmills, but in that price range you'd probably do better by buying something used online.

I know it gets cold as hell up there, but I'd probably look at spending the money on snowshoes and some XC skis.

What parts of NH you in? I spent quite a bit of time up there in '05. I was actually in Western Maine, but I was very near the NH border.

I went through this exercise last winter. What I found is that any treadmill under $1k list price isn't what you want. They are made cheaply with underpowered motors and belts that slip. So your options are to watch Craigslist and find a deal or see if you can catch a deal.

I watched deals on the Sole F63 for a long time and finally caught a sale where it ended up being something like $500. It's not as good as the treadmills at my gym but I've probably got 200 miles on it so far and it works on the days where I don't want to/can't go to the gym but still want to get a run in.

I agree with buying used on Craigslist.

Have a nice one with minimal use if you want to come the Dallas. Paid 1500 or so for it back when. Works great.

Looks for people like me on sales sites.

About 30 minutes west of Manchester and Concord in the hills of Weare

Got one from Nautilus for about $750 and it's been fine, but had for less than a year. Not gym quality, but nice treadmills can't be had for cheap.

Get a set of running snowshoes. Fun stuff

That's the one I have. As I mentioned, it's not as good as the treadmills at the gym but it's good enough for a few six mile runs a week for me. I would offer the guy $400 and see if you can end up around $450.

Sole treadmills are excellent. Wider/longer belts aren't usually found on cheaper treadmills and I like that the incline goes to 15.

Have a Sole as well that has been solid for the winter months

Thinking about putting the Nordictrack C1750 we have on sale. I don't see myself doing triathlons for a few years and we have lots of paths to run on around here. Plus they put a gym in less than a mile away from the house
