Does anyone know of an excellent orthopedic spine surgeon that specializes in degenerative disc disease and complex spinal cord issues? I am searching for one located in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, or in the Houston, Texas area.

I would approach Dr. Kevin Gill at UTSW. Tops in the field in this arena.

I have scoliosis (not that bad) but was told by anyone that he's the best spine surgery guy anywhere around.
