How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone use them? I picked up a pair today after having some achy knees after my last several runs.

I'm running in shoes that have about 50 miles on them so I don't think they are my problem. I free I'm just pushing my jiggly body too much to prep for bcs half. My thighs also feel like the have been caned.

Ive used them in the past for runners knee, always seemed to help.

I've had more success stretching with a foam roller and hand held massage roller to help my knee pain than the straps helped. Mine is more of a severe jumper's knee though from volleyball. And I'm not a crossfit crazy, I just like the foam roller!

definately didnt help today. I might need to change my shoes back to my old ones.

I'm a big proponent of foam rolling.

Also, depending on your knee pain, continued running without addressing the problem could only make things worse. For example, if you've got IT band syndrome, continued running can turn acute inflammation into chronic inflamation, resulting in taking a prolonged time off from running to heal. So you need to figure out what the issue is. Could very well just be your shoes are wrong for your specific gait. You might want to look into developing a more midfoot strike instead of a heel strike.

I'm also a fan of minimalist/barefoot/Vibram running. It helped me overcome both plantar fasciitis and some knee issues I was having myself. But if you move towards minimalist running, you really need to transition slow.

I have some brooks pure flows that I attempted to run in twice, but since Im running in two races in the next 2 months Im going to try to break them in after those.

After attempting those brooks I went back to Mizunos but different ones than I typically run in since I was getting blisters. I'll take blisters over this knee pain so Im gonna try the old guys again.
