How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anybody else have this? I saw it at the store used for $1500 and cannot wait to purchase it. The greatest thing is the most obvious, the bar that hangs from cables and only moves when the sensors on the bar are touched on both sides of the bar (it runs along the entire bar for wide grip to close grip).

Intrigued. What is the capacity of the cables? How does it work for squats and deads? Does the cable get in the way of cleans?

I have one and love it. It has an electric sensor in the bar that releases the bar when you have a hand on each side and your finger tips on the sensor rod. If you lift your fingers up, it freezes the bar in place. I work out at home alone and it has saved my arse several times. Not sure on the total capacity, but I have had 300 lbs of plates on mine with no trouble.

The product info states that it is rated for 2000lbs on each side...so I think we are all ok over here!! I tried doing squats and curls and had no problems.

About deads and cleans, I didn't try those. But I figure it isn't that hard because you just need to rotate the bar so that your fingers are on the sensor.
