Anyone know the name or code of a maroon paint from SW?

I think it is Glidden has "Aggie Maroon" and pretty much any other school/sport color. We put it in my Aggie room in our house. It is red, avoid it like the plague. Seriously, looked like OU colors

Get something more along the lines of merlot, plumb, etc. Hold up Aggie stuff next to these colors. The Glidden "Aggie Maroon" is pathetically far off the mark.

They have the paint at Home Depot.

I have the official code at home on my PC. But do a search, I think someone was just talking about this in the last week or so on another thread.

I've always thought a darker burgandy color looks better. Sometimes the "official" maroon color looks more like crimson.

I agree dark maroon (like our 2006 football jerseys) looks much better than the redish maroon that is so widely available. It may be best to take a paint shop a sample of what you want and have it custom mixed.
