So.... Left a donut in the car for a few hours and came back to fully loaded sugar ants everywhere.....

Have a toddler, live in the country etc

What can I do with it besides lose my A$$ on a a trade-in (not opposed to it but its at 1.9% right now and don't have the "buy a new car again" fund re-stocked yet....

detail the heck out of the inside everywhere. vacuum it spotless, get rid of all trash, and then maybe get some ant bait or put some DE around the inside for a little bit to kill anything else off that is hidden.

googling suggests terro ant bait or even spray some cinnamon/peppermint essential oil (diluted in a water bottle)

Zero has a peppermint oil spray that's safe around kids Kills pretty well
