So I was helping a lady with a flat tire last night.

She had a really cool portable air compressor with a built-in fix-a-flat tank.

Hooked it up and started the device and milliseconds later the hose burst and covered me in flourescent green goo.

Over-staturated my clothes with the garden hose when I got home and left outside to hang overnight.

This morning I tried Dawn Power Wash but still have some splashes.

Planning to try mineral spirits next.

Any advice from successful outcome experiences welcome.

Have you tried applying heat? Like a lot of it? From a flame, even?

From what I've been told by a discount tire employee, if you don't get it out right away and it dries it is a pain in the ass.

Since it was green, probably not.

The funniest part is my wife was asleep on the couch when I got home and it took half an hour for her to stop crying bullsheet about why I was so late.

FWIW, the shirt is polyster blend quick dry type of golf polo.

Soaking it with the water hose the night of definitely helped.

Soaking it in Dawn Power Wash while still damp did nothing useful.

I will try some rubbing alcohol, mineral spirits, etc as well.

TexAgs rule (it's not in the official Terms of Service, but it should be) that when you mention a woman in your post you are supposed to provide pics. Unless we're talking Rosie O'Donnell at a nude beach in which case Rule 1 is rightfully waived.

As my wife says with most of my nice clothes "well, that's a work shirt now."
