I've flown into Mobile a few times in the last year. Each time renting with national. I select intermediate as well since they don't have the emerald aisle pick your own there. Each time I've gotten something like a genesis suv.

How does the Adriatic Blue Metallic look in person? I have only seen it in pictures and the CGI version on the website

I had one recently. trying to remember, is that the one with the really F'd up shifter mechanism?

ETA: NM, looks like the VW still has an actual stick. I had a rental recently that just had like a button and a rocker switch to shift into P/R/D. It was screwy as hell and looked like an easy point of failure that would completely disable the car.

My biggest gripe with it is the throttle tip in delay. Regular or sport mode, there is a significant delay so I've had a closer call than I should've when pulling out of parking lot to make a left.

So pedal gets pressed further because you're trying to GTFO. Car gets rolling by this point, but now turbos light up and you do a little rolling burnout. I've spun the tires quite a few times the past 8 days lol


Also, my personal phone is the perfect weight to set off the passenger side seat belt sensor. Work phone (lighter) won't set it off nor will a 25' tape measure (heavier).

Phones go in the cup holder.

What are you using, a brick phone from the 80's?
