I'm shopping for a new truck and am seeing a lot of deals on the 2026 Ram Longhorns. But as an Aggie, I'm not sure I can drive a truck that has that many longhorn references inside. My t-sip friends might never let me live it down.

For any of you that have the Longhorn, how did you handle all the badging? Or am I going to far?

Great truck….love the one I just bought.

To your question, I think you are going too far. Only line I draw is on baby **** orange vehicles and pearl white Tahoes…..which are standard issue tsips ******mobiles.

Got one because it was the only way to get a non-black interior the year I got mine.
Most of the longhorns are easy to remove.

3 metal badges on the outside come off by running fishing line behind the badges and then rubbing off the leftover glue.
Metal badges on the floor mats come off by flipping over the mats, pulling off the little dome things that hold on the badge studs.
Leather patches on the seatbacks come off by just pulling out the stiching.
Upper glove compartment has the longhorn branded, so I just keep it flipped open.
That leaves the metal badge on the center console.
If anyone asks about that badge, I just tell them that my interior was made out of their mascot, and that the badge is just there to document that fact.

You have to really be a real truck Q to realize that longhorns have the limited grill without the side trim piece, so 99.9% will never know.

Just get the Laramie. That is what I did. No way am I driving a longhorn truck around. I would rather walk.

I couldn't do it. I almost never wear anything orange either (only exception is hunter safety vests).

My Laramie has more than I need. Don't buy a Longhorn and then butcher it up. Get a Laramie.

Just got a '26 Laramie a couple months ago. Love this truck so far, coming from Ford (I liked my Fords too).

I have thought about cutting the horns off all the badging if I go the longhorn route, or debadging.

but with the prices I am seeing for the Tungstens I may not have to worry about this issue. Now if I can just find one that is not on the stop sell recall.

Honestly how can anyone even consider buying one of the stupid freakin things?

I guess my Dad('71) just raised me right. I hate the damn sips so much I don't think I would even ride in something called a longhorn.

The Laramie does indeed have two levels. I have a level 1 which is the bottom level but as I said previously my truck has more than I need. A level 2 adds a rear heated seat and a glove box screen. There are probably a few more but those two that I just mentioned are the big ones

It's just a truck. A very nice one at that. Get what you want.

The Longhorn edition is a Limited that has saddle brown leather with filigree and some Longhorn badges. If you really want the saddle brown then you deal with the badges as it's the only way to get that color interior...
