Live here in B/CS but figure we will prob end up buying outside of here. Any specific recs as to where we should look?

I bought my Tacoma Limited off CarMax last year in San Antonio. Simple process.

Try Hunstville. I bought a used vehicle there from their Toyota dealership in 2020. They had me send them pictures of my vehicle that I traded in. My experience was good

They hold their value better than almost anything else. The OP needs to be prepared to pay a few dollars.

Im well aware of how they hold their value and also the range of price that's out there.

Maybe there is something I'm missing, but I'm not sure how being more specific would help with looking at certain places? From what I have looked at so far, whether it's a dealership or CarMax or other sites, whatever inventory they have has a broad range. I've seen some as old as 2010 or so all the way up to new ones.

I typically look on Car Gurus (app or website) to see what's out there. It searches all kinds of dealerships, and you can narrow it down results based on location, cost, mileage, vehicle history, etc....

The last 2 used vehicles I purchased were a Mazda from EchoPark and a Lexus from a Cadillac dealership, both found on CarGurus.

Thank you. I'll check that out. I had actually seen several listings from there but didn't know much about them. I was going to read into them later this evening
