I don't know what you call the rubber strip on the front quarter panel of my truck, but it has come loose and duct tape won't do forever.

Has anyone had experience with these JB adhesives? Is this the way to go? Is there a better option? Am I going to have to devise some sort of clamp set up while the adhesive cures?

Thanks for any advice you have.

Your fender is dented in pretty bad and I'm guessing the clips or retainers on the back of the wheel opening molding are broke. If you're looking for a cheap quick fix I think you're going to need a much thicker adhesive. I get cars in the shop all the time where someone just puts a screw through it to hold it on temporarily until it can be fixed right.

Thanks to both for your replies.

Classicdoug, your user name suggests you are a specialty shop, but where are you located, please?

Try this where the clips were, if you're not going to replace them.
