I need another Bakflip cover. Does anyone know if Luke is still the guy at Truck Alterations? I figured I'd check here before I fired an email off into the abyss.

I ordered from Truck Alterations about 5 years ago. Luke suggested a Lomax and it has been fantastic. Its never leaked once and has been through a couple of pretty intense hail storms. Had to replace my hood after one of the storms, and the Lomax still looks basically brand new.

I'm giving the Truxedo SentryCT a try this time (switching from BakFlip Revolver X4s). As far as I know Lomax doesn't make a cover like these (and Luke didn't suggest anything from them).

had a lomax where the paint started peeling after a couple years and it was out of warranty. contacted the brand and they sent a replacement cover for free. I bought from Luke about six years ago and it was around $600. Last I heard, the price has about doubled for one.

I bought one from Lomax scratch and dent and couldn't even find the damage.

My old truck had a bakflip. When I got a new truck I went with Luke's recommendation and got a Lomax.

I will say I liked the look of the Bakflip better. I also liked the function of how it folds completely up against the back window better. But haven't had any issues w/ my Lomax.

Lomax makes one called a "stance" that folds up. But I find it easy to remove it and put it in the garage when I need the whole bed.

I have the stance. I just preferred the bakflip way of standing up where it locked in with its own rail vs the Lomax way of mounting the latches on your roof.
