I know they're discontinued, but don't know enough to know if that means they should be avoided. I test drive a 23 Platinum Reserve today, and really liked it.

The one I test drove had more miles than I'd really like on a purchase, over 70k, and needed some minor cosmetic work. It looks like the Pro-4x still has several of the options I like, but they seem to move pretty quickly.

Ultimately, how's the reliability on the 22-24 models? Is the fact they've been discontinued a sign to avoid them? Does anyone have an inside track to finding one with relatively low mileage?

I have a '17 SV 4WD. No issues, other than sensor throws random codes, which I clear, and nothing comes of it.

Wanted to get a Tundra when I got it first, but couldn't afford it. Been happy with my Titan.

I like my '23 Pro 4x so far. I hardly have any miles on it but Im about half way through my 5 year warranty. Still smells new and has only had 2 oil changes. Basically its like the previous generation Tundra with upgraded tech, stereo, etc. Everbody on here who has one seems to like it.

I've had 2 Pro 4x's: a 2021 that had well over 125k miles before a deer destroyed it and now a 2023 with close to a 100k again with no problems. To me, as also a former Tundra owner, the thing is bullet proof mechanically. Not the 'prettiest' truck, but the engine and transmission are uber-reliable.

Wish they still made them. At least the Frontier is still available without a turbo for a while longer (knock on wood).

There are a lot of Youtube videos claiming the Titan is coming back in a year or two. Don't know how real that i.

Engine was kind of a dog and the interior was dated, but they run forever

Mine had 400 horsepower from the factory and a little more now with the NISMO catback exhaust. Plenty of power. Probably would not beat a 3.5 boost from a red light, but hardly a dog.

Absolutely not. The biggest reason to avoid them, in my opinion, is the question of whether Nissan will survive long term. Either you want to keep it for a while and hope parts are available or you want to sell it down the road and have any resale value.

I suspect they'll be bought out or merge.

That's because everyone who wanted a Titan is settling for a Frontier.

That and the fact it doesn't have an I4 turbo.
