Thanks to the wisdom of our legislators protecting us we can't have a Jiminy even though you can ride a motorcycle or drive a slingshot. This thing is a blast and is just flat-out fun to drive.

No, automatic. I'm guessing rental companies would have issues with 3-pedal cars, but that would have definitely make it more fun

Most rentals I've gotten overseas have been manual. They seemed to be more the norm that automatics in rentals. I've never rented in the Virgin Islands, though.

What makes it so uniquely fun to drive? It just looks like a counterfeit Jeep to me.

That's starting to change. Last time I was in Ireland my uncle told me he had a new car ordered. It was the first auto he has owned. Said finding a manual us getting tougher.

Almost 20 years ago I rented a Mini Cooper when we were on vacation in the Amalfi Coast. It was a turbo diesel (cool) manual (very cool) with start-stop technology (not cool at all). I'm not sure if that annoying feature had even made it to the US yet, but I certainly had never been in a car with it. Took me a bit to figure out why the hell it was stalling out when I had it in neutral. After a couple of WTF moments I noticed it restarted as soon as I pushed the clutch in and things went smoothly from there.

Just the size. It's hard to describe, but it feels like driving a childhood toy in real life. I have a 2 door Wrangler at home and would trade it for a Jimny if I could
