Would you/have you tipped long haul transport drivers upon delivery?

I didn't tip mine.

What I did do was give him a good recommendation to the broker. Good feedback is really important in that area.

I have transported 2 cars across the country. I always map them to a location that makes their life easy. Like no power line issues and open area to get their truck turned around.

Make their life easier. They apreciate that. Never have to tip them.

Way to throw doctors out there even though one has never asked you for a tip.

Did you know that doctors used to get tipped regularly for good outcomes? Like if they saved your life or cured your illness.

Now they only get paid when the insurance feels like it, and if they don't get a perfect outcome every single time, they get sued.

Never said they did. I asked how long before the tipping bs goes full rahtard and reaches docs, who are probably the last people I would expect.

And if you or yours dislike what the medical profession has become, reread the list and switch.

I have tossed the driver a couple 20s. I also tried to give a hundo to the HVAC guy who took over a month to replace our two systems (because rheem had an issue with their control boards). I told him I knew it wasn't his fault, I appreciated his professionalism, buy the guys some beers. He refused to take it. Tipping is a nice gesture for work completed above the level required. You think he did a good job strapping down your car and making sure lot lizards didn't turn tricks in it while he was sleeping, toss him a couple bucks.
