It's time to replace a battery that came as OEM on a honda motorcycle. There's a model code on the side and easy to find the exact replacement online....for $130.

There are so many 12v batteries out there of a similar size and 1/3 of the cost. Is it a mistake to try a different brand that fits but with slightly different specs?

original is the YTZ4V below. Bosch has a lithium with much higher CCA (120) but lower Ah (2.0). How will it perform over the next few years with lower Ah?

Don't overthink it. I've owned several side by sides, 4 wheelers and multiple other equipment and autos. As long as it's close on specs it's just cranking a motor. O'Reilly's offers a warranty on all their batteries. The fit is usually really good. Unless it's operating high tech electronics you're good. Save the money!
