My wife had a small incident last Friday and we need to get her car to a body shop. It's a Lexus RX. Any recommendations on where to take it? We took it to Caliber Collision yesterday for an estimate, as requested by insurance, but we've been told we can take it where we want for the work to be done. TIA

Mason Road Collision Center just north of Highland Knolls. They have fixed a couple of cars and did great work.

If you're paying for the repairs yourself, they might be okay, but Caliber exists for the benefit of the insurance companies, not the customer. On an insurance claim, they will fix your vehicle in the absolute cheapest way possible, not necessarily the right way.

My neighbor was a salesman at Westside Lexus for something like 30 years and recommended their body shop when my Titan got sideswiped. I was very happy with the end result.

Caliber sucks. So does service king or whatever they rebranded to.

Tommie Vaughan body shop fixed my Lexus a while back and did a fantastic job.
