Several of the bulbs have gone out on my instrument cluster, climate control, headlight switch, etc. on my 06 Silverado. Replacement requires soldering on new bulbs. I'm thinking about going to LED.

I've seen several kits out there, but they seem overpriced.

I would just buy that Amazon pack, but the problem is I need different voltages and colors. The climate control needs six 6V and two 12V. The instrument cluster needs "warm white" otherwise the lights will turn out blue due to the factory film.

I guess I'm mostly thinking out loud, but has anyone else done this? Is there a "bulb store" that you can specify size, voltage, and color? Preferably local instead of online so I can compare what I'm getting. Back in the day I'd go to Radio Shack, but I have no idea now.

I'd just have it completely rebuilt or order one and send in as core. Do whatever lights you want, new stepper motors, and have trans temp gauge added. I had a SS cluster (white face) in my 04.

JMO, but I prefer incandescent bulbs. I don't want the cluster to be bright af
