I didn't go with this when I got my 2022 Super Duty because the sales guy was a family friend and said I should just wait and get one later on for cheaper. He's not a family friend anymore so I can't ask him who he recommends. Who do you recommend using and how does it work? I've always had one through dealers. Thanks.

I went thru this exercise within the last 6 months on my '22 f150. All things internet pointed to two places and there really wasn't much difference. if you want to look further google f150 forum extended warranty and several threads will pop up.

i bought ours thru granger ford. MUCH cheaper than what dealer quoted

Gave my local dealer a chance to match Ziegler during Covid when they had very low inventory. Could not even come close.

This is the answer. You can get a NEW ESP until 40,999 miles without an inspection. Other dealerships can only sell a new ESP up to 36,000 miles.

Thanks for all of the input. Very helpful. I have the standard warranty which is 3 year or 36K miles I believe. I'm just thnking about extending that out to 100,000 miles. What do you all recommend? I'm at 22 months since I purchased and have 31K miles.

what I liked about the granger site is you can easily play with different term lengths, mileage, and deductible.

it depends on how many miles you put on a year, how long you want to keep it, how much you want to pay now, etc etc

From Granger: you can use points at checkout 40,000 = $200 you still have your 3/36 with this in place.

From a few years ago, I recall some on F150 forum suggesting to buy a lower deductible policy so you don't get pinged several times on a recurring issue. Not sure if true.
