Kid in Tyler at nursing school, car broke down in Lindale. Shop says blown head gasket and needs to go to a Tyler shop for repair. I need a shop recommendation. I've searched but was hoping someone might have some experience in Tyler.

The two shops I hear the best comments about are Terry's Repair and Donnybrook Automotive.

If you can get it to this place near Sulphur Springs, this is a great mechanic for engine repairs. Call them before you head that way.
