I have been given the opportunity to buy this F250 7.3L gasser. It checks all boxes except the supercab. I didn't even know they still made the supercab!

Coming from a supercrew, will I regret buying the supercab?

Depends on space - seems like it would be tight in the back for family/kids.

If that's not your situation, I don't see any issues.

Well I keep wishing I had bought an extra cab tundra instead of the crew cab, but that's mostly because it is the only way to get a longer bed in the previous generation. I have two big kids and they may not like the smaller space but that would be too bad!

I suspect you'll regret it either during ownership or while trying to sell it.

I ordered a 2024 super duty in September of this past year and it was delivered to me in less than 2 months so just go order what you want if you are concerned about the delivery time.

Get it if you use your truck for truck stuff like hauling stuff. Don't get it if you care about the comfort of the back passengers or if you have a trailer.

And resale value mentioned above is no joke. You should be buying that for way less than the crew cab now because you will sell it for way less than the crew cab in the future.

I can't tell you how many times i've flipped up the back seat in my 250 and put crap back there(not including kids). I don't see any upside to the extended cab.
