2015 GMC Sierra.

My doors randomly keep locking themselves. Happens when I am driving, when I am parked and out of the truck, all the time. Every 5 to 10 minutes they lock again.

When I unlock doors with my key fob they immediately relock. Sometimes the driver door will stay unlocked.

Another random thing that may be connected. When I brake my headlights do a very quick flash off.

Thinking maybe its a dying battery? Although I have had no other issues. Maybe battery in the key fob?

I had also been driving in very heavy mud so wandering if that could have interrupted an electrical connection somewhere.

FWIW, I had a similar issue on a '10 Ram. In my case, there was a small piece of rubber between the key fob shell and the circuit board that the glue failed on. The rubber piece started to move around and engage the circuit board randomly. I bought a new key fob shell, and put the old circuit board in it and it fixed it. It was obviously broken when I took the key fob apart to check the battery.

Interesting. I will take the battery out of the key fob I have been using and see if it stops.

My 18 Chevy Silverado was locking the doors itself occasionally last year. It locked me out at the car wash once and again in the middle of a hay field. Both times I called Onstar to unlock.
I started using the other key fob which had never been used before. So far no problems

I had this issue on a 08 Silverado that ended up being a bad ignition switch. Had all sorts of wonky electronics things, but door locks were the most noticeable. Dealer replaced the switch and problem went away

I was cursed with all kind of electrical problems in gmc Tahoe several years ago until I had the factory ground wire replaced. No more problems.

Had a 2014 with the same problem and same solution. No worries since.
