I've ordered the LED bulbs for my son's pickup for the headlights, fog Lighs and tail/brake lights. I bought Seallight brand. Does it make sense to do the same for the blinkers and reverse lights or would this be overkill? Just seeing what others have done. Thanks in advance.

I bought LED tailight and rear turn signal replacements for my 2013 F150 a while back. Their power requirements are so small that the turn signals quick flashed like the bulbs were out. I changed back to the standard bulbs. I believe you have to add resistors? to avoid the quick flash but its been awhile.

Let your son decide. His truck.

Aftermarket blinkers/brake lights tend to suck so much that they're a safety issue. LED reverse lights are okay, but haven't made a significant difference on the vehicles I've tried them in

I can fix that with a keystroke.

Thanks. Sorry should have clarified...it's my truck that I'm allowing him to drive. The halogen headlights and fog lights were a safety issue hence the replacement.

Whatever you decide, just make sure they are way too bright and aimed way too high.

I put Seallight bulbs in my 2019 HD DirtyMax in August. I have no mods or lift. So, far, they are awesome. I just did the Headlights, and fog/driving lights.

Think they added the disable quick flash in 2011 to support cab and chassis. Never found in the 2010 sjb

Upgraded all external lights to LED 4 years ago on a 2017 F250 and haven't had any issues.
