How long has this been a thing? I got a call from my ford dealer last Thursday to say the windshield wiper motor for my F150 recall has come in and to schedule a mobile service where they come to my house or office.

This morning they showed up, fixed it, tested it, and were out in 20ish minutes.

Don't typically put ford and good customer service hand in hand but this was really convenient….

Since the pandemic. This is a program put out by ford and each dealer has at least one transit van that is leased to them by Ford at a reduced rate.

Some dealers were clueless or didn't see the value in it and didn't do it.

I guess TV ford in houston didn't partake in this. I literally called them last week about this recall. They set up appointment for today to have valet come get truck from me and take back to dealership. Which I will say was pretty convenient as well.

Customers love it.

Just had this same thing done last month. Scheduled it with Mac Haik in Georgetown. They showed up a week later and did some sort of clock spring recall on my '16 F350. Was very convenient.

The dealership always looks like a zoo when I pass by, so getting the truck dropped off, getting a ride back to work, getting a ride back to the dealership etc was pretty low on my list of things to do.

I need this done for my wife's recall on the expedition . I know my truck has something but don't remember what it is

Edit: trailer relay module recall, steering column wire harness recall and wiper motor recall for my 2022 F150
