How long do you want to ignore this user?
Do I need to heat an F150 chromed bumper to be able to bend it out? My son hit a deer with it last weekend and it is just barely pushed in on one side enough to make contact with his large redneck tires, if turned all the way. i figured we would bend it out a bit. All advice appreciated.

2013 F150 XLT if that matters.

Will add some pics after I eat.

Would need to see a picture of the bumper but I've used both chains and tow straps before with a large oak tree.

I've also used a sledge and 2x4.

Depends exactly how it's pushed

Basically, passenger side of bumper is pushed at the corner bracket, back towards the tire. End of bumper points about 1/4 way into the right front tire when turning at the end of the turn radius. Will add some pics tomorrow in daylight.

On our 1972 Chevy, we just wrapped a chain around the front bumper that had a bend and hooked the other end to a big oak tree and then put it in reverse and gave it an ever so slight goose until the bumper was where we deemed it acceptable.

On a modern truck the whole GD bumper may fall off so YMMV.

Maybe try a larger ratchet strap going to a tree or another vehicle to pull it back out. Don't bother trying to heat it up.

This is what we ended up doing late last night hooked to my trailer hitch. It allowed us to re-direct my truck as we needed to, in order to provide some force at varying angles. I was surprised how well it worked.

Thanks everyone for the ideas.
