I started a sale through Peddle and they made a decent offer, but the towing company they partnered with to make the purchase and pick it up seemed really shady, so I bailed. I read online that this towing company refuses to pay the full amount when they come to get the car.
This car belonged to my mother who passed away in January and we've been waiting for probate to sell it. Title is clean but still in my mother's name. Trying to figure out how the executor can sign the title over for the sale but can't find anything online that is definitive, other than "go transfer the title to the heir(s) and wait a few weeks to get a new title". I believe the executor can simply sign the title, and provide a death certificate and Letters Testamentary and that should be good enough - anybody have experience with that.
It is a 2006 Chevy Impala LT with right around 100k miles, some exterior damage, and the interior is pretty dirty. My brother says AAA told him the alternator is bad. It will run and drive ok until the battery dies. So if anybody in the Houston area is interested, PM me. Car is located in Deer Park.
