I am at 193k miles on my Sierra and its time to replace shocks (as well as ball joints, tie rods, etc). I was gonna buy Bilstein 4600 or 5100, but i really just want the factory ride and the longevity...if it will go another 193k miles, that's more than enough.

I believe the factory shocks are Monroe...but the GM part number doesn't return anything on a lookup (20765063 or 20765197).

Are the Monroe Quick Struts as good as OEM? Any reason to go to the Magnum?

Price is considerably less than Bilstein. I have put Bilstein 5100 on every truck I've ever owned, but don't really see the reason for the premium for a weekend beater truck.

For a weekend beater truck, I would 100% go with the Monroe or 1AAuto quick strut (might be the same thing).

Easy to swap and will be fine for your use case.

Monroe Reflex an option? Those are the shocks I go with on all my GMT800s
