So I blew a hose the other day and didn't know it until I gave it some gas and no power came through. Saw the temp gauge, pulled over and had it towed home. Replaced the hose and the check engine light is still on and throwing the P1299 code that says cylinder head over temp protection active. Is that just the code reading from when I blew the hose, or is it still in limp mode. Drove it around the neighborhood and heat is normal, check engine light remains on. Could only get up to about 40 in my neighborhood though. Any thoughts?
Edit to add: just got it up to about 60 on the main road and seems normal. I dunno.
