Need new batteries for f250. I've always just bought whatever Walmart or batteries plus bulbs recommends. Saw another forum with people recommending odyssey extreme agm or x2 power premium agm batteries. Any thoughts? Live in BCS so extreme weather usually not an issue.

While there might be better options out there, I always get the best battery Walmart has that will fit. The reason being that if I happen to be out of town or if my wife has trouble there is a Walmart with an Auto Dept nearby to handle the warranty replacement or proration.

I prefer the advance auto autocracy batteries. They always hold up best in my 6.0 and as everyone knows the 6.0 will beat a pair of batteries like a step child.

FYI - Motorcraft batteries for my '19 F250 were $404 installed at the dealer.

Odyssey Extreme is one of the best top end brands. AC Delco AGM is a very good battery for those that may be on cost budget.

Thanks for all the replies. Batteries went bad after about a year or so so they were changed out under warranty and they've gone out again so I'm done with motorcraft. I've always used a mix of Walmart/Duracell/interstate but wondered if there was a clear leader. Sounds like no except for $450 odysseys.

I put two Vatozone batteries in my 2019 Dirtymax last summer. No complaints yet.
